It's an expression meaning that the majority of this site can't think objectively about any of the good things about this generation and always looks at the past through rose-tinted glasses. I know this site has had people like this throughout Retrojunk's history, but I've never seen it this bad, and I've been on Retrojunk since 2005. Say what you will, but I like this generation the way it is. And before you start arguing against it, I want to say that no this has NOTHING to do with all the topics that's been brought up in this thread such as Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian. There's way more to this generation than just that. The problem here is that most of the people on this site focuses only on the bad things and never the good. Are there things that do need improvement. Absolutely. But not to the point that it completely outweighs the bad things that has gone on. It's threads like these that make me miss the older members that left after the Retrojunk redesign. Because let me tell you, they thought a lot more objectively than most of the members we have now.

But he use to complain about politics a lot during the Bush administration. He never did like very many new TV shows and movies either. I always though he was very narrow minded on all conversations. And looking at some of my posts I'm like wow. @blueluigi22: For me anyway, I complain a lot in good fun, and there are some things in this generation I do like. What attracted me to the site in the first place is here is a place I could remember some of good times of growing up. And I have always loved making fun of pop culture in general. It's like how we are. It's a psychological thing. This song is played in the episode and it relates to it.

Then he met Morpheous and became an alcoholic in order to deal with his pain while the status quota resets itself in South Park. Boy, that episode was depressing.

SegaFanatic 6 months 10 days ago Posts: 59	I'm back! So yeah, is there bad stuff? Of course. But, there's also a lot of good stuff. As nostalgic people, our brain works to only perceive what we remember as good. Plus, we were children, where everything just seemed to be better due to the lack of worrying or caring about what was going on outside our TV's. I can name a lot of bad things from the 90's, that's for sure. For every good comedy film, there was 20 bad ones. A lot of "hardcore", generic screamo music came from that time. The mascot era of gaming was around at that time, and the quality of the games definitely slipped because of it. Reality TV also hit its popularity at this time. However, there was also a lot of good stuff. Like nowadays, for all the bad stuff, there's also a lot of good stuff. Cartoon Network has some solid shows now, there are so many classic movies being made, the widespread use of the internet, games are so advanced, we are making scientific breakthroughs, there is a ton of good stuff too!
