I liked a little bit from both of these movies but nobody beats Marlon Brando as Jor-El. I swear everytime I watch the original his voice gets stuck in my head. Favorite bit from beginning:

"You will travel far my little Kal-El, but we will never leave you. Even in the face of our deaths. My strength shall be your own. You will see your life through my eyes. The son becomes the father and the father becomes the son."

Keep in mind I have one of the worst memories in history and I just quoted that from my mind.

I loved Man of Steel, it was the Superman movie I was waiting for a long time.

1978 Superman was good...for the decade it was made on. I find it a little dull watching it today. Better than Superman Returns though.

Overall my vote goes for Snyder's film.
