    		 I remember watching this show once followed by nearly 4 weeks of no sleep at all. Did the show give you the creeps as well?

      		 I always found the theme to be gentle for a sci-fi/mystery series. That's the way I remember it.

        		 lol i would watch it and then a few hours regret it cause my house was haunted, so on top of that the theme song creeped so i would be a chicken. :P

          		 I can see how the X-files theme might've been a little creepy if you were a kid, but even so it's nothing compared to Tales from the Darkside.

          Try watching this intro all by yourself, with the lights off, and you're 8 years old!

          Of course, as an adult, we're usually completely desensitized to this stuff. These things come across as fairly tame.

              		 Nah, not really. I never watched the show growing up. It just seemed too weird and out there for me but the song was great. The Goosebumps intro was creepier than the X-Files music in my opinion.

                		 If anything, I was creeped out by the intros to Are You Afraid of the Dark and Tales from the Crypt.

                            		 AWE COME ON! No! i remember this intro while laying on the couch at night when i was a tyke! It wasn't scary.

                            However, if there's one thing not to watch in prime-time, it's Pillsbury, Power of Cheese and Got Milk? commercials. The endings to all three brands/campaigns' ads frigthened me. Others- take it or leave it.
