Armageddon was the typical blockbuster film, filled with jokes, cliches, silly lines, etc. It was entertaining to watch once, but not a memorable movie.
Deep Impact was good, too. I have to agree that did have some heart
and emotion that Armageddon lacked.
It was a good movie. I always wondered what movie copied the other's idea though. Around that time, plenty of movies had very similar plots, copying each other, like Volcano and Dante's Peak.
