I miss when kids weren't bragging about their Xbox 360's.
...or what's now the Xbox One. And I don't see that much kids talking about it so much more so than with the PS4.

I had to Google Fun Loom Bracelets to even know what you're talking about. That's the first I've ever heard about this. I never would think it's anything popular for kids, but if it is, it doesn't sound like that bad of a fad.

People still use iPads?
Cynical11 wrote: I miss booting up my old Windows 95 desktop every day after school.
Windows 95 is nostalgic, yes, but I honestly find Windows XP to be a far superior operating system.
Cynical11 wrote: I miss when food, books, candy, toys, electronics, and cars were cheaper.
I would not remember any of that. Though candy and toys doesn't feel that expensive to me.

I was more of a Kids WB viewer in all honesty.
Cynical11 wrote: I miss when kids' shows weren't fart joke laden.
Yeah, because our kids shows in the 90s TOTALLY didn't have fart jokes. Ren and Stimpy anyone? Also, isn't there less kids shows now that have been using fart jokes compared to a few years ago?
Cynical11 wrote: I miss when music was catchier.
There's still plenty of catchy music being produced today. I don't really find it to be any more or less "catchy" than it was in the 90s.
Cynical11 wrote: I miss when My Little Pony wasn't killed by bronies.
Ugh, yes, I agree with that all the way. Like I said before, My Little Pony is a show designed for little girls, and it should stay that way.
Cynical11 wrote: I miss VHS and floppy disks.
Oh sure, VHS may be good for nostalgia and watching old TV broadcasts and video previews, but that's really it. We already moved forward in technology with DVDs, DVRs, video streaming, media viewing on our computer, etc. Why the hell would I want VHS to come back in this day and age.
Same with floppy disks. There is absolutely ZERO use for them now that we have flash drives and SD cards that can fit in your pocket wherever we go, and on top of that, can hold far more date than floppy discs did, which only holds megabytes. The only thing I'd use floppy discs for is to play some old MS-DOS games, and even then, I can load that straight from my computer. With all the technology we have, why would I want to go back to any of that?
This whole thread is nothing more than more old fartdom, and another piece of "WAH! WAH! WAH! I want the old days back!"
