54 is too young. His match with Hogan was pretty great. His words at his inducting to the Hall of Fame seem prophetic:

"No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized. By the story tellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever. You, you, you, you, you, you are the legend makers of Ultimate Warrior. In the back I see many potential legends. Some of them with warrior spirits. And you will do the same for them. You will decide if they lived with the passion and intensity. So much so that you will tell your stories and you will make them legends, as well. I am Ultimate Warrior. You are the Ultimate Warrior fans. And the spirit of the Ultimate Warrior will run forever!"

I don't know why I thought he had passed a long time ago... That sucks, 54 is way too young.

Yep. It was really well done, I'd say one of their better ones. Having said that, I hope we don't see another one for a long time.

It was good, but Eddie Guerrero had a bigger tribute. Come to think of it, I don't remember Macho Man having one after he died.

They did a nice little tribute video for him.

I remember Owen Hart had a whole episode devoted to him. Every match it seemed like a wrestler grabbed a mike and paid tribute. It was cool seeing the entire roster of WWE Superstars on stage. They're all different shapes and sizes but all live the grueling life of a wrestler.

And on Monday Nitro the same night, his brother Bret and Chris Benoit had a match in his honor.

I'm not really into wrestling, but I did love the Spoony One
episodes that had a parody of him called "The Ultimate Spoony"
so I really felt that the man passed away. But hey, at least
                                  his legacy will be remembered.

I think the infamous Chris Benoit tribute show sorta put an end to all-out tribute shows. They took a lot of heat over that, so I imagine they don't want to make that huge mistake again.

No disrespect to Benoit's career, but what he did was real stupid, and I can't imagine a wrestler to go this far. When I watch his old matches, it's hard looking at him the same way. I can't do it.

To be fair, I'd say calling what he did 'real stupid' is a bit of an understatement.

                                          Yes, it is.

Guys, pick up Ultimate Warrior's "Ultimate Collection" sometime. You'll love it!
