    Anyone seen the neat teaser?

I noticed that one site referred to it as something that was 'an abomination to your childhood'. I can't say I see that at all. I think the animation looks great. Even though it's a short teaser, it seems as if it's being made with nothing but love. As long as they don't 'Smurfs' it, I think it'll be great. I'm definitely excited about seeing it.

This has so much potential of being good. They've actually captured the essence of the original comic strip by Charles M. Schulz with that unique style of animation as shown in the teaser. Here's hoping the movie captures the spirit of the comic as well when it comes out next year. Overall, 20th Century Fox is showing us that this is indeed not a cash grab (i.e. Alvin and the Chipmunks, Dragonball: Evolution, The Smurfs, etc.). This is being done by people who actually respect the source material, and are pouring their heart and soul into it. Not to mention Schulz's son and grandson are co-writing the script.

As far as visuals go,it looks fantastic. Let's hope they don't ruin it by putting Snoopy to sing Macklemore or some shit like that...

The question persists... who will do the music? Personally, I hope it's David Benoit. He's the smooth jazz pianist who did the modern rendition of Linus & Lucy (the Peanuts theme song) and also did the music for some of the 90's TV specials, so I hope he does the music for this movie.
