Who likes the works of this director?

He's one of the better new storytellers and been a fan since I saw Cronos on video at age 12 as it was one of the first foreign language in subtitles film I ever saw and dug it after hearing how good it is in Fangoria.

I also like Mimic, Blade 2, Hellboy 1 & 2, Devil's Backbone, Pacific Rim and his masterpiece Pan's Labryinth

While I didn't love Pacific Rim like everyone else seemingly did, I do very much enjoy Del Toro's movies. Pan's Labyrinth is a beautiful movie. His earlier movie Cronos is also very, very good.

I would love to see his early films, but haven't had the opportunity. I believe they are on Criterion now. Pan's Labyrinth is on my all time favorites list and Pacific Rim was so much fun.
