Out of all the aspects of this—Disney’s The Lion King (1994), which is STILL the highest grossing hand-drawn animated movie at the all-time box office after all these 20 years—I think the music and songs from Disney’s The Lion King REALLY touches my heart the most.
But here's a trivia for ya: Did you know that composer Hans Zimmer went to South Africa so that he and his African buddy Lebo M. could record a choir of singing Africans chanting and singing over the soundtrack of Disney’s 1994 hand-drawn animated blockbuster mega-hit The Lion King?
