I remember last winter we got hardly any snow. We're getting hit hard here in PA. Temps hit in the negatives last night. What's it like in your neck of the woods?

It's cold, but no snow. Living in the deep south has its downs.

Starting New Year's Eve, it snowed here for almost 48 hours straight. But that came out to be only 12". Here's my back yard

After that we've had some zero degree mornings.

Darnit steak! We never get good snows like that here any more. Sure we got a bit, but not a foot. It's been 20 years since we got a snow like that.

With the high barb wire fences, it almost looks like a prison yard!

Unless of course it is one.

It was unusually cold in the beginning of December. Actually it's been warmer than usual here. Well it was for the Rose Parade.

So far the Seattle area is enjoying some of the best winter weather in decades. It's kinda scary how the rest of the nation gets nature's active side, Western Washington State is picture postcard beautiful as far as weather goes.

This weekend is sunny and mild - like most of the winter so far. Somehow it just doesn't seem like wintertime around here.

It's snowing again, looks like almost as much again.

On the down side, I got the flu or something. Feel real cruddy. Shoveling will have to wait.

We are getting hammered with snow here in Michigan. To make matters worse, wind chills are supposed to stay around below zero up until Thursday. I still prefer it to the ice storm we had a few weeks ago though.

We're supposed to have a "hard freeze" tomorrow. 17 degrees.

Getting down to the mid 20s tonight and upper teens to low 20s on Monday night/Tuesday morning. That's very cold for Houston! We'll be in the 70s by the end of week though. It's been cold this winter season. I don't mind as long as I have heat to go into.

Here in Miami it got all the way down to the 60's, brrrrrr. I couldn't even go to the beach that week.

Yesterday it was in the 30s and packed snow was everywhere. Wake up this morning and it's 50 degrees and pouring down rain that washed away all the snow. Getting weird.

Yeah. Wind chills are making life miserable until the middle of the week for most of the Midwest. It's just nasty.

Went for a walk last night at 8 degrees. I think I damaged my airways as it hurt to breather after. I was wearing a face mask though.

At the worst in good 'ol Cleveland, OH it was -15 degrees with a wind chill of -30 degrees last week but now its back to the 30's and 40's. I totally did the boiling water trick where you take a pot of boiling water and toss it in the air and it makes instant snow! This works cause the air is so cold and dense and the water is so much hotter. I totally felt like Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat....lol ;-)

Somebody at work told me it's supposed to snow again today, but it's almost night and nothing yet.
