Supposedly the SNES version looks way better. The Genesis really began looking like a dated system after 1993 compared to the SNES.

Of course not, but from my understanding the only real advantage Genesis may have is the 6 button controller which is great for fighting games. Other than that, the SNES version looks better and is closer to the arcade version.

I actually have this for Playstation. It's probably the best port, although the load times are annoying. It literally loads for a second just before a fatality.

MKII was on PlayStation? Are you sure you're referring to Trilogy and not MKII itself?

Supposedly Mortal Kombat II came out for PS1 in Japan. However, it came out in the U.S. for Saturn.

I checked Gamefaqs. That's my go-to place to check on things. I knew MKII came out for Saturn but found out it came out in Japan for PS1. I really don't know why it didn't come out for the PS1 in North America. Strange.

Nope, it's MKII for Playstation. Bought it on eBay about 6-7 years ago.

I think you had to do something when that guy popped out, that would enable you to fight Smoke, or reptile, one of the two I can't remember.

Hmm i did play MK2 on Sega Genesis... But MKT on the other hand was even better you get to play all of the classic bosses in MKT.... I still love this game for PS1 and yes the load times can get annoying at first but you can get used to that. There where many other games that had some of the worse loading times in history take Sonic 06 on Xbox360 for example...
