Couldn't stand it. There was nothing original about it at all. They didn't even try to be original. It looked cool, but that's about it. Brave has a much better story and much better animation. Which reminds me; I have to get my copy of the Brave blu-ray replaced.

So none of you think it's as good as 90s Disney animation?

Haven't seen it so I couldn't say. But in general I would say that, while digital/CGI animation has its charms, traditional animation is more pleasing. It is certainly the more "fine" art by definition. And I like to see evidence of the creator's hand. Also, this is nothing specific to 90s. The rough linework in Aristocats, for instance, is nicer for me. And there was definitely some CGI in The Lion King.

It was alright. It broke a few standard Disney plot themes so that was nice. The comic relief snowman was more cutesy than funny. The queen was cute, but by no means hot. Sorry Pinface.

Wow...I must have watched the wrong animated movie about an ice spewing princess because the movie I saw was not Toy Story 3 tier material.

Respecting your opinion, but the idea was to go back to the classic Disney fairy tale. It fits very nicely into the canon of Disney Princess', which is exactly what the studio needed after a stretch of spotty films. I would agree Brave (being PIxar) has a more daring plot, but Frozen's strength is in the message of independent females.

I finally watched it after hearing all the hype and it turned out to be just that, overrated hype machine. Is it a bad movie? Not at all, but to say it's the best Disney movie since Lion King is an absolute joke and an insult to far superior films like Pocahontas, Mulan, Hercules, and the fantastic Hunchback of Notre Dame. Too many musical numbers with totally forgettable songs except Let it Go, only scenes that made me laugh were the Kristoff scenes, the snowman was annoying and corny, and I'm sorry but cgi animation is lazy IMO. Other than that, the story was good and the voice acting was great, but Frozen is and will always be hype and nothing more.
