Disney has made a comeback lately with their own stuff from their own company like Princess and Frog, Tangled, Winnie The Pooh (alot better than the crappy Cars 2), Wreck it Ralph and now Frozen. Nice to see Disney made a new renissance rather than leeching off other established properties like Pixar, Marvel and Muppets and soon Lucasfilm (Star Wars/Indiana Jones) even though they did good with Pixar, Marvel movies and Muppets yet soon Lucasfilm could be good, i'm glad Disney is focusing on their own animation company

Derk 11 months 28 days ago Posts: 1469	I've heard nothing but good things about this. I was hoping to check it out last weekend, but that didn't work out. Hopefully I'll get to see it Saturday. Also, I'm glad you mentioned that recent Winnie the Pooh movie. It doesn't get enough respect, in my opinion.

I kid you not,EVERYBODY that left the theater when we went to see it had an smile on their faces. ^ This is the BEST Disney song since Hellfire. It's absolutely fantastic.

Derk 11 months 26 days ago Posts: 1469	I finally got a chance to see this earlier this evening. My better half loved it, I thought it was just okay. I didn't hate it, but I wasn't blown away. I certainly don't think it's the best Disney movie since The Lion King.

(because I don't know, because I hardly ever go to the movies) And I looked and I see like, , and honestly I was not very impressed. Sure, she is pretty, but nothing special~ Then today, I run across this Frozen concept art and I'm like, OK, now I see why somebody would say that. She has a very nice face. The CGI style needs to stop. It ruins artistry and craft, and it makes everything look samey, I hate it.

AtlantaCommercials 11 months 5 days ago Posts: 1244	Update: Just saw the movie, it was a pretty extravagant little film that reminds me a lot of the classic Disney Renaissance films of the early 90's. The musical numbers were phenomenal and are really strong and fit well with the general atmosphere in which they're presented as. The Mickey Mouse short that they showed in front of it was good, too.

MattNor91 11 months 1 day ago Posts: 41	Frozen was fantastic!! I also got some 90's nostalgia in there to when I saw the movie. Pixar really did save Disney from Eisner's power trip, and I can tell they definitely spread their creative culture into Disney Animation. Disney's CG has gotten a lot better too. Walt Disney would be ecstatic to see this movie if he were still alive. This movie beats any of the teenybopper garbage Disney Channel spews out these days.
