    		 My "Doctor Who" post got me thinking about another series I enjoyed from the early 80's - "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" television series from the BBC.



    Any TV series that has a spaceship's onboard computer named "Eddie" gets the nod from me!

    Guess I'm just an easy mark when it comes to awful special effects but in this clip from Episode 3, I do like the "We're all going to Die" missile attack scene.

    Anyway the "Hitchhiker's Guide" movie got a lot more thumbs-up than the TV series ever did.

    The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.
