I'm trying to sell a Japanese copy of the Beatles' Abbey Road album (vinyl) on eBay, but for some reason it's not selling. My starting (bidding) price is $30 with the buy it now price $40. I've always thought that Beatles-related items were often sought after by Beatles fans and collectors, especially rare and foreign-released albums. What could be the reason my album isn't selling??? Thanks.

Did you take plenty of pictures of it and described the condition of the album? How much does it usually sell for? You can keep relisting it and eventually it will sell.

I'm not sure this needed a thread as you pretty much stated the same issues in your other thread. eBay isn't a miracle worker, things take time. Proper presentation and appropriate pricing are crucial. Don't worry, with Christmas coming on I'm sure your stuff will sell.

High starting prices are never successful. And, there are many import copies of that album that are cheaper and they are near mint condition. What's so special about yours?

You need a good story to go along with the item.
