Thought I would start a thread about conventions, Any one planning an attending any or have been to one recently? I haven't been too any for years but hope to at some point. Last time I was in London about 10 years ago and it was fantastic.

There was recently the second annual RetroCon held in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, we didn't find out it even existed until a few days prior to the event. I was hoping to help it out in some way and have someone from RetroDaze make it into the event for some review next year.

Used to love conventions when I was younger. Now it all feels more like a hassle. Gettin' old sucks.

The RetroCon in Philadelphia looks really good too bad you were late finding out about it. I would have loved to gone, especially as James rolfe was there.

Never been to a convention before. Wish I could go, though. The main problem is that there is hardly anyone that I recognise that appears at them.
Don't pay any attention to the evil spirited and dead of heart. They're not worth your time.

I haven't been yet but I really want to go to a comicon. They had one where I live and I missed it, I plan to catch the next one.

I've been to plenty of BotCons and TFcons. I also go to the Niagara Falls comic con every year.

Starting next month, I'll be saving up money to go to Chiller Theatre in New Jersey in 2014. I had been there once in 2005 during some vacation time, but it was a last-minute decision. I wasn't prepared for any of what could be seen and done at a convention. Almost a decade later, I think I'll be more prepared.
