So, as every outlet on the planet has told us, today is the release of Apple's much-touted iOS 7. If you use any sort of Apple device and have updated, what do you think?

At the risk of opening the 'Droid vs. iPhone' debate, I had planned on switching to Droid, but then decided I'd wait to see how this update went. I'll just say that after updating, I'm not cancelling any plans on switching to a Droid.

I've had iOS7 for while now, and it's ok. I don't care for the flat style, though.

I'm waiting to hear how well it will work on my "retro" iphone 4. Apple says it will work, but it's at the bottom of the list...

I've had it since Beta 2. Its an improvement to IOS 6 for sure, but still falls short of Android. Overall I still like the iPhone better. Simply because it just works. No crashes, locking up or viruses. It also small. No way I would have that tank called the S4 in my pocket. Its a cool phone, but I wanted something small.

Yeah, one of the main reasons I chose the 4S was because it was compact. Every other phone is just too big! That's fine if you're a girl and carry it in a purse. As for the new iOS I really only like the enhanced simplicity (Oxymoron?) on the lock screen. Safari is harder to use but I'll just have to get used to it. I don't mind a phone having endless features and customization, just as long as those options are tucked away and don't get in the way of the basic operations.

I have an iPhone4. I haven't had any problems with it so far. You just don't get a lot of features such as parallax, panoramic photos, siri, airDrop, etc.

I agree that it definitely falls short of Android. In my opinion, Apple has a huge problem with these updates in the sense that they add worthless features. I've read more than a few pro-Apple sites bragging about the level feature in compass, like it's THAT big of a deal. I also think that Apple's interface is outdated, certainly when compared to Android.

                  Cool, thx for info.
I knew about older features like Siri and panoramas cause I just got this thing in March. For panorama, I got free app Photosynth. Most of that other stuff I don't care about...

I have it for my iPhone 4. It's a nice face lift and it operates smoother. The feature I'll probably enjoy the most is iTunes Radio, already it has a better selection than Pandora.

                      Apple is so overrated.

Well, I am interested in some of the new features and new look but I've read thst it has a major hit on battery life so I'll pass on the update.

I've seen the phone cases that look like a cassette tape on the back, which I think is genius because old iphone is just the size and shape of a tape, and they have replaced walkman...a few weeks ago I saw someone with that style case but on one of those huge phones. Ridiculous. It just doesn't work with that.

It absolutely is a major hit on battery life. Unless you disable a ton of the features, you'll definitely be forced to recharge your phone more than once per day. Or that's been my experience, at least.
