I love all the retro candy stores popping up especially here in Cali but they never have some really good stuff! Such as bonkers candy man those were good watermelon was my favorite. Or chocolate fruit roll ups!

I'm kinda surprised that Bonkers haven't made a return in some shape of form. I haven't had a fruit roll up in years. Do they still make them? I have no idea since I have no kids and that's basically a lunchbox/afterschool snack.

Disney character popsicles were good. Also the Shasta Super Mario pop is one I usually mention in threads like this.

Can't think of a foods, but I can think of a drink.

I thought New Coke released in 1985 tasted better than Coke Classic. In taste test most people preferred it too. Society however rejected the change mostly because of the nostalgia they had for the original. When it relaunched they switched to high fructose corn syrup which changed the taste. Most experts agree that if they did a gradual change no one would have complained. You could buy it for a few years after the mass hysteria. It really did have a better taste. It was kind of a sweet nectar taste that was much smoother going down. I wish they would bring it back!
