Holy Hell... I had forgotten this animated celebration of material excess. And This came out years before 90210 came out.

I wasn't big on 80s cartoons in the 90s because they seemed so outdated to me animation wise but I was definitely into 80s movies. I've never seen this cartoon series and I imagine I wouldn't watch it as a kid. There was just so much cool stuff on tv for me to care about 80s cartoons. I think only Disney animation like Duck Tales I would watch but everything else seemed horrible.

Never heard of the cartoon, but I think I love it.

What is this background pattern style called, anyway?

Didn't they use it for Saved by the Bell too? That's what I remember that kind of design from.

I think the poleposition, kidd video, and supercade intros are more "80s".

These ones are also runners up:

Ahahaha! You mean best intro ever!

Honestly, the most 80s ones to me included random heavy metal and sequences that made no sense and didn't do a good job of letting you know what you were watching. But maybe I am biased/jaded.

Reminds me of Rocko's Modern Life.
