    Well here goes :
    Xaolin Showdown
    Teen Titans
Danny Phantom (Even though the theme song makes my ears bleed)
    Fairly Oddparents
    Avatar, THe Last Airbender
New Ninja Turtles (What is your beef with it guys, seriously?)
G.I. Joe Sigma Six (Being thirteen, and never having seen the original show, I can't comment on Sigma Six's quality in comparison to the old toons)
Yu-Gi-Oh (hey, it has a pretty deep plot for a kids show)
Yu-Gi-Oh GX (Not as deep a plot, but still pretty good)
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (Very darkly funny)
Loonatix (Its not as bad as it sounds)
Feel free to comment on why you hate these shows compared to the shows of your youth.
And also, to comment on your relentless hating of anything from the 00's

Xiaolin: I have never seen this show, ever.
Teen Titans: It's an entertaining show
Danny: Decent, but the theme is dumb.
Fairly Oddparents: Pretty funny for a kids show
I have never seen Avatar at all.
New Turtles: It's good, but the original is better.
Sigma 6: I like this show very much
      Yu-Gi-Oh and GX: Dumb.
Billy & Mandy: Lowbrow and idiotic humor.
      Loonatix: Won't even watch it.

So, I do like some of the shows you've mentioned.

G.I. Joe Sigma Six (Being thirteen, and never having seen the original show, I can't comment on Sigma Six's quality in comparison to the old toons) could care less...

Xaolin Showdown: Never seen it. Never heard of it, actually.

Teen Titans: I like it. Too bad the series finale was open-ended.

          Danny Phantom: Never seen it.

          Fairly Oddparents: Funny show.

Avatar, THe Last Airbender: Never seen it.

New Ninja Turtles: It's okay, but I just prefer the older version since I liked the comedy.

G.I. Joe Sigma Six: Never seen it. Never cared for the original version, either. Just not a GI Joe fan.

Yu-Gi-Oh: I never cared for this at all. The dub voices are enough to keep me away from it. Maybe if I read the manga I'd actually like this more or give it more of a chance, then again, the genre doesn't really captivate my interest enough to try and watch/read it. I'm more into drama-based series (Fruits Basket) and comedies (Azumanga Daioh; Abenobashi; Negima, etc). I'm not really into the whole "card-game" type thing.

          Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Same as above.

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: I've never watched this.

Loonatix: Never heard of it, but I have an idea what it is. Is this that show that features the old Looney Tune characters, only the plot is dark or something?

i'm a fan of the new g.i. joe and TMNT cartoons, as well as the fairly oddparents, but outside of that, i say that most cartoons offered this decade are basically awful. thin plotlines and too heavy a focus on animation have all but killed any chance at a quality tv show, which existed in much greater numbers as recently as ten years ago. as far as the 00s go on cartoons, i think they'll be remembered for cel shading and anime rather than the things that matter like an intriguing plotline (and i have watched yu-gi-oh, and IMO, there is not much that is deep about that show, even for a kids show)
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Xaolin Showdown: a wierd anime-like American cartoon.
Teen Titans: Like Xaolin Showdown, but with D.C. Comic characters.

Danny Phantom and Fairly Oddparents: I don't watch Nick anymore.

Avatar, The Last Airbender: Never heard of it.

2003 TMNT: I remember watching the original TMNT back when I was very young. I was retarded at dancing to the original theme. Never did notice the sequel. Then, when I saw the TMNT based on the early comics, it made me enjoy it more than the original, because of the makeovers, the music, better voice acting, and not many wacky characters. Watching the original TMNT is like watching the 2003 TMNT while wearing beer goggles and using bad drugs.

G.I. Joe Sigma Six: Never have watched any G.I. Joe shows very much.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: This show was the second Yu-Gi-Oh! anime in Japan, but for this one you are talking about, it is okay, but I'm not interested in the card game.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Never have watched it.

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: Never have watched it. Also, too wacky like Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, some of the wackiest Nicktoons, and the modern Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercials with Window in it.

Loonatix: Here is what happens to me everytime I see this show and that baby version.

For other shows that will probably make you say they suck are:

Cubix: Robots for Everyone - This kinda reminds me of Blast Corps for N64, because of the robots and the music. It also reminds me of Reboot, because of it's computer animation.

Funky Cops - The theme is quite funny. Also, there aren't many shows that combine 2-D with 3-D animation.

Alien Racers - Only seen previews of it, and it reminds me of Rock'n'Roll Racing for SNES.

Martian Mystery - Reminds me of Archie's Weird Mysteries.

StarGate Infinity - The main enemies are pretty annoying, I know their names, but I don't think I can spell them. The show and theme song were okay.

Sherlock Holmes in the 22ND Century - Quite awkward, and why would they want to have a robotic Watson?

Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy - When I first saw Kid Muscle (Mantaro Muscle), I thought he was half-man, half-shark. I watched almost every episode, and it was interesting. It really sucks about these people not releasing the original in America.

Ultraman Tiga - Kinda interesting and boring. I noticed that there are other kinds of Ultraman shows, but it also sucks about these people not releasing these other shows in America.

The WinX Club - For girls and gay men. Also, I'm slightly straight, but I am mostly an asexual.

Mew Mew Power (a.k.a. Tokyo Mew Mew) - Some of these girls are hot, others are funny. For girls and for men who like hot anime girls.

                  AND

Sonic X - 4Kids ruined it. I'd prefer the Japanese Sonic X more than the first three cartoons, the anime movie, and this edited version.

Its amazing to me to see that all of the modern day cartoons, peil in comparison to some of the stuff we had growing up in the 80s and 90s.

And it should also be mentioned that some of the stuff which we saw in the 80s and 90s, such as the looney toons and disney shorts, were produced in the 1930s, 40s and 50s.

That's how well good material holds up against the passage of time.

The problem with modern day cartoons, is that there's not enough plot, or even one that leaves a lasting impression.

The stuff we used to watch, respected our intelligence to some degree.

Heck when does Voltron come out on DVD?!

I love the Winx Club and Mew Mew Power because I love magical girl shows. I like Trollz too.

I never really got into Martin Mystery.

                      I like Sonic X because I'm a Sonic fan.

                      Xailoin showdown is funny.

                      I liked Cubix too.

Another show I liked that nobody listed is Tama and Friends. It was such a cute kids' anime.

                        To I Am Clark Kent,

I sent and got a response back from World Event Productions (the company that produced the voltron series) and they said that they are DEFINETLEY coming out with it on DVD along with the Japanese and Veichle versions of the show.

TVshowsonDVD even mentioned that the reason its taken so long is because of legal trouble and right now they shopping for a company to remaster the DVD's. WEP is also planning on making a live-action movie of Voltron in 2008 (although that seems like it would be literally impossible to do!) and maybe they'll release the DVD's along with the release of the movie, although I hope its released sooner.

Yeah, I have been aware of that for some time Reaper.

Voltron being one of the best shows of the 80s, and the fact is it had some of the best intelligent writing of any of the cartoons of that era.

It just frustrates me that legal issues are keeping the show held up for a states side release, The entire series has been released in Austrailia for almost two years now.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is suffering the same problem which kept Invader Zim from being a mainstream hit, a bad time slot on Nick.

Avatar is a great show. The voice acting is exceptional, the animation top notch, it's well written and has a pretty neat storyline.

Even if every episode isn't action packed the writing picks up the slack, none of the episodes between main plot points give off a sense of being a filler episode.

The comedy is funny without being gross or particularly clever, that doesn't mean though the comedy is stupid(like spongebob) it just seems realistic(something that could happen in real life).

As for someone's comment earlier about Billy and Mandy being lowbrow, that's true to a point. They do have gross out humor and low brow jokes for children but there is also tons of adult humor in there for older viewers.

I agree this is a truely remarkible show and i was a huge zim fan before it. Avatar reminds me of nicks golden age.

                                To I Am Clark Kent:

They actually have the full Lion series on DVD in Australlia, I heard it was just a hodgepodge collection of episodes from the Veichle version?

Regardless, I'd take any DVD release of the veichle/lion over the zero ones we have availble here.

After visiting amazon (UK) I noticed there are also a number of lost animated shows from the 80's/90's that are avaible in full season sets but won't work on non multi-regional DVD players.

Not a favorite of mine, but I've got no beef with it.
                                    Fairly Oddparents
I don't care for this one at all.
                                    Avatar, THe Last Airbender
Best. Show. Ever. It puts pretty much every animated series shown in the US from the 70s to the 90s to complete and utter shame.
New Ninja Turtles (What is your beef with it guys, seriously?)
Their beef is that they can't handle something different than they're used to, even if the difference is that it's better and more accurate to the original version. 2003 TMNT is one of the best shows of this decade, and better than most shows from any previous decade. IMO, this show plus Avatar are enough to destroy the idea that "new cartoons suck"
G.I. Joe Sigma Six (Being thirteen, and never having seen the original show, I can't comment on Sigma Six's quality in comparison to the old toons)
I haven't watched it much, but what I've seen of it is better than the original. See the "different than they're used to" problem mentioned above to see why some people like to bash it.
Yu-Gi-Oh (hey, it has a pretty deep plot for a kids show)
                                    Not a bad show, honestly.
Yu-Gi-Oh GX (Not as deep a plot, but still pretty good)
I've never even heard of this.
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (Very darkly funny)
I've tried to watch it, and it's just not very funny or particularly dark to me. I also happen to hate that particular family of visual cartoon styles. Sorry, I just don't like it.
Loonatix (Its not as bad as it sounds)
The very concept seems stupid to me, so I've never even watched it. Unlike some people, I won't slam a cartoon unless I've actually watched it and given it a fair chance, so no comment from me on this one.

No, it was definitely meant for kids. The original version of the story was published in the Shonen Jump magazine, a comics publication for boys in their childhood and early adolesence, although it has plenty of fans who are older and/or female. This is a common misconception about several Japanese anime and manga. I think people get that impression from the uncensored versions of these shows because:

                                    1) They were meant for an older group of kids than they're marketed to in the U.S. More like 10-16 instead of 4-12.

                                    2) Japanese children's media doesn't treat kids as if they're emotionally fragile and mentally retarded the way we do in America, so it doesn't seem like "kids stuff" to us.

Xiaolin Showdown: Mildly amusing. I like Omi and Clay but dislike Dojo the dragon, and Jack Spicer is a very annoying villain.

Teen Titans: Disappointing. Occasionally the plots aren't bad, but the faux anime style and occasional excessive cutesyness get on my last nerve.

Danny Phantom: Haven't watched this one in awhile, but I seem to recall it wasn't that great.

Fairly Oddparents: Cute and sometimes amusing.

Avatar, The Last Airbender, New Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe Sigma Six, and Loonatix: Haven't seen them yet, so I can't comment.

Yu-Gi-Oh: From what I can tell, this is pretty much a show for kids who've outgrown Pokemon but aren't yet ready for Magic: The Gathering.

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: This one I rather like. You can't go wrong with the combination of dumb, happy character and total jerk-- Ren & Stimpy, anyone?-- plus, occasionally they slip in references to cartoons only grown-ups would remember ("Grape Ape! It burns!").

                                      What more can we do?"

                                          Well here goes :
                                          Xaolin Showdown
                                          Teen Titans
Danny Phantom (Even though the theme song makes my ears bleed)
                                          Fairly Oddparents
                                          Avatar, THe Last Airbender
New Ninja Turtles (What is your beef with it guys, seriously?)
G.I. Joe Sigma Six (Being thirteen, and never having seen the original show, I can't comment on Sigma Six's quality in comparison to the old toons)
Yu-Gi-Oh (hey, it has a pretty deep plot for a kids show)
Yu-Gi-Oh GX (Not as deep a plot, but still pretty good)
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (Very darkly funny)
Loonatix (Its not as bad as it sounds)

i don;t like loonatix. i saw one episode

i liked Yugioh ansd watched the first three seasons but kept screwing upsetting the vcr and got tired of WB moving the show around.

i love fairly oddparents and danny phantom. there are only 13more all new episode of danny phatom before the series ends its new episodes.

i love avatar i missed the episode before the one hour episode though. i love billy and mandy and i occasionally watch fosters home for imaginary friends.

i watched Xiaolin Showdown but the same with Yu Gi Oh i got tired of WB moving it around in the schedule and stopped watching it.

i loved Teen Titans i record the second half of the final zseason although i don;t think the final episode was as good as the episode before it.
