I am starting this thread so we can talk about epic battles in the movies (especially if they are of the epic fantasy or science fiction variety).

Can you list any epic battle sequences from the movies, in addition to the four epic battles pictured?

The final 30-45 minutes of Kick Ass, where Kick Ass and Hit Girl invade Frank D'amico's business. It's INSANE.

So many to mention, but to name a few: the epic battles in Troy (especially Aquilles vs Hector), Braveheart, 300, Star Wars.

Oh yeah, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi had a GREAT final battle.

Return of the Jedi is one of my favorite finales ever. The Avengers had me giggling like a school boy the entire time.
