              		 Definitively around 1999/2000. What's funny is that around the time right before 9-11 I remember a lot of people talking about how sick they were of Survivor and how they were hoping it would go away "soon". Yeah,that never happened...

                		 Reality tv can be defined in many ways, I would imagine. I think when MTV became popular more than anything is when I assume reality tv got big. Shows like the Real World came along and that seemed like it redefined reality tv as we know it. So would shows like Cops and America's Most Wanted be considered reality tv or is it more stuff like The Real World? I remember The Tom Green Show was big and I think you can define that as reality tv considering he would talk about his life and prank his parents and other people. That show transitioned me into The Real World maybe in 2000 when I was 13. Real World: New Orleans was awesome.

                      		 1999. That's when reality GAME SHOWS started coming on. Now every show is basically reality tv and it sucks.
