I won't pretend they're good from a critical standpoint and I didn't buy the album, but I secretly like "The Sign".

My favorite song by Ace Of Base is "Beautiful Life", in which they sound very much like ABBA!

To me, virtually all songs in the 1990s were bad. But the worst of them all is a song that you couldn't escape from the radio without hearing this song being played:

      "Runaround" by Blues Traveler.

That song got massive radio airplay in the mid-1990s and although it peaked at #5 on Casey's Top 40/Rick Dees' Weekly Top 40 and enjoyed a long but not-so-well-deserved stay on those countdowns, I was quite shocked to learn that it was the #2 song of 1995 on their Year-End Countdowns.

Imagine how "Runaround" would have done if it made it to American Top 40, had the original run of such show not been cancelled.

That song's not that bad. I like it myself. John Popper could've controlled the jumping around in the video, though.

Inner Circle's "Sweat (A La La La La Long)" could rate as one of the worst songs of the 1990's in my opinion...

Ace of Base rocked! For a kid of Eastern European descent, such as myself, Ace of Base was like heaven to the ears! They had so many hits in the 90s among the other Euro dance groups. I loved the 90s for that type of music.

I am a huge fan of 1990's Euro dance music...such as by Real McCoy ("Another Night", "Run Away"), Snap ("Rhythm Is A Dancer"), Haddaway ("What Is Love"), La Bouche ("Sweet Dreams", "Be My Lover"), Fun Factory ("I Wanna B With U", "Close To You"), Livin' Joy ("Dreamer") and Corona ("Rhythm Of The Night"). Those tunes bring back many fond memories I have of the 1990's...also great party/beer-drinking music!!!

I secretly like Haddaway, too. Those other bands don't sound familiar to me, but I bet I would recognize at least one of those songs.

I was a fan of pretty much all of those songs/groups. I was mostly into alternative music in the early 90s. Groups like Ace of Base and Real McCoy opened the door to dance/techno. I started getting into older dance music such as Technotronics- Move and Shake that Body

This beat is. This beat is. This beat is technotronic!

The techno side of 90s pop took me in another direction. I got into Front 242, Messiah, Sheep on Drugs, stuff like that. Not until '99 did I start discovering amazing groups like Technotronic, Egyptian Lover, KLF, and Afrika Bambaataa.

I have a hard time with this one. Because even the "worst" songs I have some really fond memories around so the good memories override the badness of a song, the older I get.

I have a playlist of 90s alternative songs that I've been cultivating for years. But I will say that Crash Test Dummies' Mmmmm Mmmmmm song isn't on it. Purposefully.
