    		 I used to love Taco Bell. Back in the 90s Taco Bell tasted amazing and I definitely remember that old sign. There was a Taco Bell close to where I lived so I would see it a lot. I can't believe the logo was supposedly gone in 1994 because I could have swore the sign was still around in the late 90s but I could be wrong.

      		 I'm pretty much sure the movie Demolition Man introduced a similar version to
      the current version of the logo and the company later adopted it.

          The running theme with these "updated" logos (RJ's included) is that they're just lazy.

          Flat, basic logos are just the trend right now. Retro logo's are probably not far behind.

                The old sign was still in my area until about 2011/12.
