I'm just as disappointed in Chuck's current look as you guys are. If you're going to change a cartoon character's look, make him recognizable.
@Derk:
Geoffrey has had that look for a few years now. He looks quite obscure imo.
I've never noticed it had actually changed. The design is too simplistic, in my opinion. It looks like someone was trying to rip-off Toys R Us, not the actual logo.
It has to appeal to the kids today. I haven't seen Moose J Moose, but if it looks similar to a decent cartoon, the new version might be doing its job. Either way, I don't think the new Geoffrey is too bad. But I never had much opinion on the old version.
But I do agree that Chuck E Cheese assaults intelligence offensively. He's so transparently the result of somebody carpetbagging "extreme" style or culture or whatever that is. He reminds me of Roy, the cool guy who moved in with the Simpsons that one time.

Mrs. stake you say some nasty on my threads. Dirty bitch
That Chuck E. Cheese one is just lazy, they haven't updated the look anywhere else but the commercials.
The last old Taco Bell sign in the area just gave in to the new design about three months ago. I used to pass it on the way to work and it gave me that tiny flutter of nostalgia every time.
