    I was a kid from 1988-1997.

In my opinion, childhood starts at age 3 because you go to Pre-K at age 3.

I'm still a kid... at heart.

But... you know... otherwise, I'm old.......ish.

At what age does being a "kid" end? From what I can tell, it's pretty subjective.

One day when I was in my early 20s, I was at a diner, involved in some conversation. I don't remember the topic. But I began to say, "When I was a kid..." and the old waitress and the old cook started laughing and informed me very sternly "When you were a kid?? You are still a kid!"

I would say 20. You're still young at that age, but you're considered an adult.

I'm 27 now and I still run into those situations.

Well you do seem very immature, so maybe it's because of your lack of manners.

He has shown a lack of respect towards people who have made honest attempts to educate/correct him on here.

err...hmmm...no, nobody has tried to "correct" me, except that one guy, who got banned shortly thereafter.

Or "educate" what, pray tell, do you mean by that?

Hey! You sound like a clone of me.
                          I was from 1997-2007.

Right. I wonder whats the definition of 'kid' to my 92 year old grandpa.

We don't always agree politically, but I think stake n sheak is one of the most intelligent and mature people on here.

I thought we were supposed to be talking about how long we were a kid from, not arguing with stake n sheak.

Thank you bassman. The respect is mutual. We engage in real discourse. Even in those knockdown drag-out arguments we've had, you were willing to expand the conversation and explain your thoughts, rather than simply repeat and insist. I enjoy that. That is honest.

crow, there's nothing wrong with going "off tipic"
