Hello guys. First time poster here. I know some of the amazing stuff that retrojunk has put out on the net (Most of it seen at Youtube), and if anyone can help me out with this one, it's definitely you guys.

So, I remember very little about this show. It should be noted that I'm danish, but it shouldn't really matter, because I remember the show actually being in english (The theme song itself), but voices were dubbed.

    Alright, so here goes:
Young kid, I THINK his name was Goliat/Goliath, but it might just be my mind playing tricks.
In one episode, he basically has to fend off the 4 elements of nature. Fire, Earth, Wind and Water, because they have made life harsh for his tribe or something.

In another episode, he basically finds bubblegum in some bubblegum trees.

Last one I remember, is that they have to build new huts, and he has to help his dad with cutting down, and carrying the trees. Being the genius kid he is, he gets all the wood to flow with help from the river, thus being the one to get wood to the village the fastest.

I'm probably missing a lot of detail, but I do remember quite a lot about the show. Regardless, I haven't been able to find anything on the search engine here on Retrojunk, google, or youtube.

Show also had this weird theme song that was in english(sort of) that would be between some of the episodes (I had an old tape of it) where some of the cave people would sing "Ooma Ooma Ook Ook" With a baby slamming a bone on the end.

I'd tip my hat at anyone who knows, or can in some form or manner remind me of this show. It's not that the show was super good by any means, I just have that uncanny scratch for nostalgia that I can't quite reach due to shoddy memory.

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for helping out!
    Heraz

(Note: I believe some of it was stoneage related, and some of it was more bronze age? It was kinda weird.)

        Was it claymation? "Cogs!", perhaps?

I went through 150 pages of the old shows list, and saw Cro as one of them. It's sadly not the one, no, neither is COGS.

Thanks for the answers so far though. Definitely in the right direction.

Ah, sorry. It was probably wise to have included the year.

I don't think it's neccesarily from the 90's, but that's when I watched it. Probably like...1997-98 or something in similar, so quite a long time ago!

Hey Heraz, I know exactly what you're looking for!

I watched this cartoon as a kid on Swedish television and I also had the VHS you're talking about with the water, fire, earth and wind element, and also the bubblegum one! =)

This is a Swedish comic made by Kenneth Hamberg. Read more here:

(Wikipedia in Swedish) Goliat Cartoon Series

I also found most, if not all the cartoon series on youtube, Including the bubblegum one and the element series(All in Swedish) in a playlist:

                You're welcome! =)
