Damn it, Ganon! I've fired silver arrows into your chest, cut your head off with my master sword, and watched you as you turned to stone, seriously what does it take to vanquish you for good?

As an old school gamer, I got to go with the original NES followed in close second by Super NES. and trailing in dead last is Atari Lynx, c'mon Atari WTF!? :?

If those are my only options, I'd have to choose Playstation 2 even though I own a gamecube. I only own one of those because of Zelda. But I'd have to say that I'm gonna pick the NES. It's old skool and fun as heck.

Out of those options, I'll go with Gamecube, even though I own a PS2. Seems most games I want or wouldn't mind playing, comes out on the Gamecube or some other Nintendo-based system. I think it's due to the fact that my loyalties lie with Nintendo. *Nods*

My loyalties also lie with the Nintendo, but unfortunately it seems that ever since the middle of the N64 they've lost a lot of their magic they had during the NES/SNES years.

I love games like "The Wind Waker" and "Super Smash Brothers: Melee" but those games seem few and far between these days. :(

Hopefully the Revolution (and its library of retro Nintendo games you can download) will bring them back to their salad days. :D

Though I own a PS2, hands down I'ma have to say Gamecube. Sony and MS have gotten wayy too evil.

              Why I wanted a PS2 before, I don't know.

You hit it right on the head, adventure_of_link!

Microsoft and Sony are CORPORATIONS! not gaming companies like Nintendo and Sega (Although to be fair, there have been some great games for the X-BOX and PS2)

The great thing about the Nintendo/Sega wars was that they came up with better technology and games while competing and benefiting the gamer. I had both an SNES and Genesis and was always amazed at the innovations and games (that still hold up) that were released throughout the 80's/90's.

I heard a (hopefully) untrue rumor awhile back that Microsoft would merge their game division with Sony and thus creating a giant monopoly on the console industry if that happens its the end for what remains of Nintendo and Sega.

                (end rant)

Gotta say Dreamcast, I can play pretty much whatever I want on it without having to shag around with mod chips. And it still has my favorite controller of all time!

Well, actually, Super Nintendo would be the best for me, but since its not on there I'm gonna have to go with Xbox because of Halo. and it has better graphics than the other systems, even though I love GC & like PS2, I still say Xbox.

Hey, graphics don't make the game.

They've all got their high points, but I'd have to pick Xbox for the graphics and gameplay... if they only had the PS2's second party licensing...
