    		 What I am looking for her is the age when you decided that you were too old to play with toys or when you decided that playing with toys just wasn't cool. This does not include the hobby of collecting toys as an adult nor playing with toys ironically (in other words I don't want a bunch of "I never stopped" responses).



    I was 12 when I stopped playing with toys. I remember getting a few Transformers for my 12th B-day (target masters to be specific) and a few MASK toys the following Christmas. All of the afformentioned toys are in impeccably good condition and show little wear unlike most of my childhood toys.

      		 I was around 12-13 where I "officially" stopped playing with toys LOL I think that at that point my interest started to shift more to video games. But nowadays I think kids stop playing with physcial toys or at least certain ones when they are way younger in favor of more technological gadgets like vid games on all platforms. They really lack imagination because everything is fed to them.

          		 i think that you should decide when to stop playing with toys, i think that most grown ups stil play with toys

            		 I'm 39 years old and still playing with toys. Of course I can get away with it because I have 3 young children. Mwahahahahaha!

                  		 Do you ever really stop playing with toys it just goes from a children's version of toys to a more grown up version of toys your cell phones and computers and things of that nature so I guess what I'm.saying is there is no age to stop its all about transitions

                    Seriously still collect old toys....and no seriously i buy 2 sets, 1 to keep in good condition and 1 to play with and relive my childhood.

                        		 and what about grown men playing with train sets, so in away they are playing with toys cause you can get model trains in most toy shops

                          		 I think I was 12 as well. When I started jr high at a new school and turned 13, I remember thinking man, I've barely just stopped playing with barbies and these other girls have condoms in their pockets.

                            		 I think around 12-13 and it was a fairly secret thing. My parents probably assumed I was smoking pot in my room or something, but I was still playing with figures. Then I tried to phase that into making stop-motion videos, but after about 3 weeks of work with only about 45 seconds of movement, I gave up.

                              		 I never had many toys as a kid to begin with. I used to daydream and pretend without the need for toys. I stopped asking for them when I was around 10 years old. I was more into hobbies like CB radio and shortwave radio as well as video games from the age of 10. Where I grew up kids generally stopped playing with toys by the 5th or 6th grade. Even cartoons were seen as uncool around that age though I continued to watch them in secrecy till I was 16.

                                		 In terms of consistently playing with toys? Probably 13. However I did have a few bouts of playing with them over the years up until last month haha.

                                    Yes! I totally watched cartoons secretly until I was well into my teens also. I mean this was the era of such shows as Duck Tales, Anamaniacs, Dark Wing Duck and Batman TAS. No way I was going to miss out on that just because someone thought it was "uncool."

                                      I watched Ducktales too among others. For me TMNT was a big one. I started watching it in 1989 when they started showing them weekdays. I was already 13 years when most kids were getting away from watching cartoons. I continued to watch it until around 1993. I remember watching a show called James Bond JR after school when I was 15 as well. I was still in middle school (behind 2 years) and I didn't get home until 4:30 pm as middle school had a late start/end time. Because of this I missed most of the afternoon lineup. Come to think of it that might have been the only animated show on at that time. When I was 16 I usually had other things going on after school and only watched cartoons on weekends.

                                        		 I still watch cartoons LOL Well not everyday. Up until I was a teen/young adult.. I watched Disney Afternoon probably ending with DarkWing Duck...and when they added Toonami into the rotation I stopped. The other cartoons I watched would be the classics but none of the newer stuff really past 1995. With the exception of Spongebob. Any of the newer toons didn't hold my interest.

                                          		 When I was 13. As I started 7th grade (junior high school) in 1977, I got really big into science and also developed a huge school spirit. So, for Christmas that year, my wish list consisted of only science and educational-related items (chemistry set, geology set, art studio, chalkboard/bulletin board, etc.) with not one toy. When I handed my mom my Christmas list, she looked at it and asked me "Don't you want a toy?" and I believe I just simply said "no". Sadly, we had just suffered a family tragedy when my only brother (18) died at the hands of a drunk driver that November.
