Who remembers this weird as hell yet cool adult animated sci-fi series on MTV? i remembered watching the shorts when i was 10, 11 and 12 and i was 13 watching the spin-off series where the characters spoke.

This was a US/Korean/Japanese co-production and Peter Chung who worked on COPS (the 80s toon) and the first season of the original Ninja Turtles cartoon as he designed them and created this cerebral and unique show, i taped every episode of Liquid TV and the show Aeon Flux itself all the time.

This had all kinds of crazy ideas like Trevor Goodchild (the villain) going under his bed to go inside a fat politician's stomach with a wrench into a virtual reality world, Trevor using a beetle to poison people as he puts it into his finger then later takes out the beetle out of his finger into a glass then checks the wound as he scoops out the beetle turds to put it on a cracker then eats it to people selling their blood and going into private booths to have cabbage and smile.

I used to watch Liquid TV with my dad and this along with The Head, were my favorite segments. Too bad the movie was wretched.

The movie sucked i agree and the cartoon is way better.

Did this show reminded anyone of Heavy Metal, Brazil (the movie), Blade Runner, 1984, Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Nausicaa combined?

It had an 80s dystopia look to it. I don't really remember any specific influence, but I should get the dvd and re-watch it.
