    		 not sure if i posted this in the right bit but, threre is one thing that i want to and that is, you know doctor robotnic from sonic has he always been called doctor eggman. the only reason why i ask and that is that sometimes he's called doctor eggman while others he is known as doctor robotnic

      		 I heard him referred to as Robuttnik in the comics a number of times.

        		 In some of the comic storylines, he is known as Dr. Ivan "Eggman" Robotnik. So, Eggman (as he was known in Japan) is incorporated into the story as a nickname of sorts.

            		 To my understanding, he was originally called Dr Eggman in Japan. Dr. Robotnik was a name that North America chose for him after Sonic reached American shores. They did however change it back to Eggman (Or simply treated it as a nickname as Ghost of Vapor said) in the mid/late 90's, kind of the same idea with final fantasy 4 and 6 being called 2 and 3 in North America.
