    		 This morning, someone born in 2005 said "Hey Arnold used to be on when I was little".

    Seriously, the ignorance of little kids these days is baffling. This young junior still is little and all they are seeing is re-runs. Like they were even alive when it originally started - or even originally ended. LOL

                      It's still weird that you're "baffled" over something so trivial. The kid probably watched reruns of the show. It's pretty cut and dry.

                        I got that from your first reply. I don't think this is about anger or whether a kid could have possibly watched a show, but that talking about "when I was little" connotes a certain level of experience or sophistication that looks a little ridiculous on an eight year old.

                          		 I see what your saying, for sure. However i've seen people list shows that were on in the 80s and 90s but first aired in the late 60s and early 70s as shows from their generation when they weren't even born yet. Like Scooby do. Certainly didn't start in the 80s, same with the Jetsons and Flintstones but i've seen tons of us list them as shows that used to be on when we were little LOL. Like I think the first Scooby Do series might have started in 69, the year my dad graduated highschool and 11 years before I was born.

                          I DO see your baffledness though, because your like hm, do they just mean it was on tv when they were younger or are they trying to say the show first came on at that point and they are confused. I sometimes get annoyed when people assume Degrassi The Next Generation is the only Degrassi there ever was.

                              This is it. They were born in 2005, so "when I was little" is the present, not the past.
