            		 I do.. just switched to the Triple Play package so now I finally will have DVR but only on one tv. I still need a recorder on my older tv so that I can watch taped shows when I workout.

              Yeah works for me but i rather have a real DVD/VHS player because you can tell the quality differences of the two....

                  		 I have a Toshiba VHS/DVD (recorder) combo deck that I bought just a year and a half ago, so I can copy my VHS tapes onto DVD. Sometimes I would pop in a VHS tape just to watch, since I am old school at times. VHS is to video, as vinyl records and cassettes is to music...there is that special "feel" compared to today's digital mediums

                    		 This is embarrassing, I have a VHS/DVD Combo player from 2007 that is still in the box. I never opened it.

                          		 I was watching some TV, and I forgot I had Predator on VHS. I popped it in the VCR and it looked HORRIBLE. I'm not sure if my VCR heads were dirty, it needed a tune up, or I just never realized how bad VHS quality was until I saw it again.

                              		 Yeah, sad as this might sound on my part, indeed I still have and still use my VCR/DVD player combo. At the moment, though I do have a collection of Blu-Rays, I do not have a blu ray player and that's of course cause now a lot of Blu rays come with a DVD, so I don't mind paying a little more to have both since I do play on buying a blu ray player sometime, though it could be in the form of a PS3.

                                		 I bought an SV 2000 combo DVD and VHS player in 2002 for 40 bucks and bought the same model for my parents at that same time. Both units still work great. Been using them for 11 years now.I only use the VHS part of it and not too often so i suppose that's why mine has lasted so long.I use my blu ray player to watch DVD'S.My parents don't watch DVD's OR VHS tapes that often so their unit is also still in great shape.
