    		 I was watching an old family video today and found a conversation that I could post here. This conversation is from 16 years ago (1997) so I guess it qualifies as a retro conversation.

    Michael: What do they have going on at the museum?
    Kathy: I think they have a new shark exhibit.
    Michael Cool. That reminds me, where's our tickets?
    Kathy You put it by your magazine collection.
    Michael Yes, I did. Guess what else. Peter, you haven't put your tapes away.
    Peter That's because I'm still looking for my museum tape.
    Kathy You do realize that you're still not coming with us?
    Michael Actually Kathy, he is. He has his own ticket. Now where is my jacket?

    The recording stops after that for some reason.

            		 I have so many of these. My Father used to record every family gathering, including Thanksgiving dinner. Very boring. But I also had a tape recorder growing up. My cousin would try to convince me to spy on the adults with it in hopes of finding out what he was getting for Christmas.

              		 I remember my grandpa made a tape of my uncle (his son) who is 10 years younger than me in the late 90s singing Christmas songs and them attending a family Christmas party. There is this really embarrassing footage of me sniffing Christmas presents to figure out what they were.

              My grandpa made copies of the tape and gave them out to the family. I remember labeling the tape "Christmas party starring (my uncle's name)"
