Cartoon Network's Resurrection (BEFORE Toonami's brought back in a 24/7 format)
"C.N."'s Hole in a Wall ended earlier in January 2012. Bring that back for one more "special" 1 hour episode.

During the first 10 minutes of the show, it would go on as normal, and have let's say Jeff Jarrett (wearing a “C.N.” sucks shirt) run out and "El Kabongs" the host in a head w/a guitar. We would then go to a commercial break and the first commercial that would air would consist of a 5-10 minute tribute video of the 20 year history of Cartoon Network played along LEN's Kids in America song, and Finger 11's One thing (towards the 2006-2012 part of C.N.'s 20 years of history video).

Maybe a few more commercials would air then we would go back to the show and the crowd is BOOING and is in shock (because the execs., security, and the host are the only people that know that this is all scripted) then Jeff Jarrett proceeds to "lay a pipe bomb" via a microphone, passionately shooting on how far this "Cartoon" Network has fallen, and how it's completely PATHETIC because of the FOUNDATION of this network being taken away, etc. He would eventually state that this will be the LAST time any LIVE ACTION show will air on CARTOON network, and the logo changes into its SECOND incarnation, then to its 1st (checkerboard version).

After Jarrett's speech various people (dressed up in costumes of past Cartoon Network characters, wearing t shirts of past shows, etc.) and voice actors come out to give away Cartoon Network show gear, etc.

The course of this episode would include various interviews w/the crowd and several voice actors and C.N. personalities, and 5 Cartoon Network/world of animation recaps would play 1 after each commercial break (Recap 1)1992-1995, Recap 2)1996-1999, Recap 3)2000-2003, Recap 4)2004-2007, & Recap 5)2008-2012) narrated by Keith David, with the last part of the 5th recap ending with the Toonami closing promo and a final narrative piece from Keith David on the current state of C.N., then Steven Blum would be introduced and would come out for a few words.

In the background, Jeff Jarrett would El Kabong the H.I.T.W. host one more time w/a guitar sending him into the H.I.T.W. pool/water and a few more festivities would persue before an image of a limo appears on a large screen on the set, and Ted Turner appears on the H.I.T.W. set and announces that the OLD, CARTOON Network is BACK and it's here to stay. The show ends with a toast from various people on stage and the rest is history.

note: Various live action programming like Hole in a wall is moved to different networks like Nickelodeon, etc. and Toonami is resurrected sometime after Cartoon Network’s resurrection.

What a tremendous bit of work to fashion a post like that beyrsf.
Your commentary at the end is excellent.

Now that Amazon is entering the webTV wars it will be interesting to see if any all new cartoons will appear by year's end.
The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.
