    		 This is a thread for anyone who is either interested in or has grown up with New Zealand pop culture.

    Which New Zealand-based pop culture are you aware of? This can include movies (Lord Of The Rings), music (Split Enz, Flight Of The Conchords), television (Ghost Hunt) and so forth. It can also be from any decade, no matter if from the sixties or today. However, this does not include imported culture from the United States or other countries.

      		 When I joined Retro Junk back in 2008 one of my goals was to learn about media and pop culture from around the world. I wanted to see content and read stories from users in countries outside the USA and Canada.

      Results have been uneven so far.

      Why not pick a favorite restaurant, or TV series, or game that's unique to New Zealand and tell the rest of us about it. Introduce NZ pop culture through your experiences, use details you remember.

      And join in the forum threads as often as you can.

        Is that still your goal? Because there is plenty to be shared about New Zealand and some of it is even "retro" too. I will definitley look into picking a restaurant, TV series, game etc that's unique to New Zealand and writing an article about it. Thanks.
