I think Cartoon Network's peak was definetly 1999. They had all their new cartoons as well all the classics. After that it started go to downhill once they started to get rid of the classics and move them to Boomerang as well as Adult Swim taking over the schedule.

I couldn't pick only one year though, for me it was 1993-1995, maybe even 96.
It already started going downhill around 1997 with all the new stuff and by 1998 it was already in the gutter.

yeah i think that 96 - 98 was that best as well beacuse apart from shows like dexter's lab, there were also cartoons such as the flintstone kids, the mask animated series, cow and chicken along with any other cartoons that cartoon network use to show

1995? Are you crazy? Cartoon Network actually hit its peak in the last 90's, imo. They had just launched Toonami, they had Cartoon Theatre, and they started Cartoon Cartoon Fridays. I also remember when they use to air that 90's Wave commercial nearly every commercial break back in the day!
They would even have 3 minutes of commercials before starting the next program

I highly disagree. Don't get me wrong, I liked the days when did nothing but show classics all day, but it was exciting to finally to see some orignal content from the channel. Plus they cartoons they showed in the late 90's/early 2000's were great and way better than what Nickeloden was airing at the time.

I'd say 2000 to 2001. Simply because a lot of Cartoon Network shows were on thst at enjoyed, like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter's Labaratory, The PowerPuff Girls, and Classic Looney Tunes.
90's shows and movies are awesome

Some of CN's original programming weren't all that bad.
There is a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is evil and the other one is good. Which wolf will win? The one you feed the most.
