    YouTube user visioncurrent has posted the 1958 movie, "The Fabulous World of Jules Verne". I don't know how long it will be there but take a look if you have the time. A very unusual film that I saw once back in 1966.

      		 Thanks eddstarr. I started to watch it last night but Mrs sheak was sick and not in the mood, she found it a little slow. She still wants to see it and we will give it another go later. We downloaded it, so if it disappears off the youtube we'll still be able to.

      It would make a good double feature with Bedknobs and Broomsticks, which also used a huge variety of different types of special effects.

        		 I have to agree with you SnS, after watching for the first time in years the movie is waay slow. There dosen't seem to be any high point to this film at all. It was nice to see that swimming submarine again, it was the basis for similar swimming vessels in other fantasy films years later.

        Funny how my memories are a lot more fun than the actual movie itself.
