Seems a lot like F-Zero. I was never into F-Zero. Of all the alternative racers on the N64, Star Wars Pod Racing was my favorite.

Ahh... I remember Star Wars Pod Racer for the N64 and Sega Dreamcast.
I play both N64 and Sega Dreamcast and there both good. Also play the Arcade version of Star Wars Pod Racer and it was awesome. But you should give Wipeout a try. Wipeout was on the N64 and the Sony PlayStation. F-zero X ah man that's a cool game too. I play that game too for my N64 and it was great game for the N64. I love how fast you go in that game as well.

I could never get into Wipeout and I've tried. I played the N64 version and didn't care much for it, especially when compared to F-Zero X. I've given Wipeout a chance numerous different times since 2005. The PSP, PSN and PS Vita Wipeout games were all given great reviews but for some reason I didn't enjoy any of them.

It's ok. I know a lot of people that do not like Wipeout for the N64.
