Alright folks, tell me: What will you be doing for Thanksgiving this year?

I'll probably be at my in-laws'; eating, drinking and trying to avoid the dance floor.

I will be at my Mother In Law's with my folks and my husband's Mom's family. Excellent food and location, like Normal Rockwell shit, but I know her sister is bringing her BF and his kid. The guy is like half her age, it's too weird. We met them last Thanksgiving. At least our travel is only 20 minutes. Definitely beats Christmas travel!

I'll be at a bar. Not as bad as it sounds (maybe?)

Libations will be served by [the bar], which will open at 4pm.
Smoked Turkey, Traditional Sides, and Dessert will be prepared by [people we know], with service beginning at 6pm.
Vegan & Vegetarian options will also be provided.
A very modest donation of $10 is suggested for all who wish to gorge.

Drunkenness and napping will ensue...not necessarily in that order.

We have hosted Thanksgiving at our house with local friends for the past four years. Every year, fewer and fewer people show up. This year was going to be down to four people (including us). So with food-cookin' by two of our more recent friends and many others going to this, we decided to retire the hosting duties.

We were going to do something totally different this year, and instead of cook at home, like we've always done (even as a kid we only went to another family members house ONCE, other than that it's always been just my mom, dad, brother, sister and I and oh so boring) my husband, son and I were going to pay 7 bucks each to eat at the Thanksgiving family buffet at the Galley on our base and then do something else we've never ever done..go see a movie on Thanksgiving. I was excited to do something different, but then a friend of my husbands heard we were going to the Galley and said no way, your coming to our house. I was a bit embarassed because I was like well we weren't going to the galley because we can't cook ourselves LOL we were just going to go to do things up different this year. BUT, it was nice of them to invite us so we're bringing a few pies and some drinks over and having Thanksgiving there and seeing the movie the following weekend.

I wouldn't mind going to Denny's (Bundy style) or a regular diner on Thanksgiving. But probably have the same results (no way, come be with us)

Well I'm planning to have my family's traditional "Pie In The Eye" throw fest.

I'll be working from 4:30 to 9:30. Wal-Mart is beginning Black Friday early. I don't normally work on Thursdays since going to part-time, unless I ask if I can. The store is going to be very busy, though. This'll be my 11th Black Friday.

Any word on a workers walk-out at your store?

Might go upstate for this year Thanksgiving.
Or maybe not. I'm not sure about this year Thanksgiving.
Too me Thanksgiving is just another day for me.

Ive always considered it like any other day as well. People act like its the only day you can cook turkey or have stuffing lol. But like Christmas it depends on how you grew up doing it. We never went anywhere, no one came to see us, it was boring
                                  :)
