Back in the beginning of the 21th century I only had one channel home which was RTL (The german Tv channel) and anyway on the weekends they would send this cartoon series, dunno what country made it.

Anyway the hero was this regular muscular black-haired guy. He would have this two companions a huge guy and this girl. It's not Action Man.
What I remeber the most is that during the intro you see this guy spinning around. Black shuriken like things are falling of the sky and he dodges them. Then you see him kick some huge robot while swinging. Then he faces a t-rex while standing in the rainon some sort of island, maybe?

Anyway if someone recognize and knows what series I am talking about. Please help me.

Interesting... Just a few days ago there was someone in anime-planet's chat room trying to find an anime which had aired on RTL 2, now here you are also looking for an anime from RTL. What you describe is almost certainly an anime. It's not familiar to me, but give me a little time to poke around & I'll probably find it. (The one the other guy was looking for turned out to be future police urashiman, aka rock 'n' cop.)

Do you remember anything else about it? What was the general storyline? What timeframe was it on the air?

It's not rock 'n' cop I know for sure, but it must have been an anime. I think it was supposed to be set at present days or somewhat in the future. Probably future. It was generally aired in the early afternoon or late morning. Around 12-14 I think. I remeber it the intro very well cause it's dramatic and not any lead singers or anything. Just this dramatic music playing. Hope it helps out anything.

I would say around 2000-2003. Not really sure.

You said the opening featured a dinosaur & a giant robot. Did one or both of those feature prominantly in the series, or did each just appear in one episode?
What was the general premise of the show? Was it just some guy going around beating people up, or was it about police/detectives, was it about racing, was it a world full of robots?

Fortunately for you guys I had posted this on an anime forum. It turned out to not be anime, but someone there had seen it on european TV & was able to identify it. Personally, I had never seen nor heard of that bob morane show before.

There's a whole world of animation that was never broadcast in the United States. One of the reasons I joined RJ was to get heads-up on stuff I've never seen before.

French animated series that aired through Canal+ used to be picked up through Saban Entertainment back in the 90's through the early 2000, but that seems to be a thing of the past now. There may be issues involving NBC/Universal and its ties to Canal+, but I'm not sure.

Bob Morane has no IMDb listing so I guess it never made it into the USA from Canada either. A few shows from Australia made an appearance around here but we seem to have lost some of our Aussie friends since the site renovation.

I live in Sweden and it was aired through german television so I guess its kinda logic around my area. Didn't know it was french, though.

Really lucky and once again good work. Appreciate it!
