I am since last year after hearing good things about Friendship is Magic and it's male following, i decided o see what the fuss is about and i became a brony and a proud one.
"Nobody wants to see vampire killers or vampires either! apparently all they want are demented madmen running around in ski-masks hacking up young virgins"-Peter Vincent from Fright Night.

I liked the original series, but the new one just grates on me.

You should watch the "and friends" portion of the old show: http://www.retroist.com/2012/09/18/glo-nies-for-the-bronies/

a cousin of mine became one, until he heard about the term ¨clopping¨. then he became disturbed to even mention anything my little pony related. though the pony.mov parody series by hotdiggedydemon is pretty awesome. if the show was more like those videos then i'd definitely be up for watching it. ¨stay outta my shed!¨

You think "clopping" is disturbing then wait until you read the fanfiction "Cupacakes".

Anyways, there are quite a few bronies on here. I personally do think the show is good but I wouldn't call myself one.

Those are called "yiffers". Furry just means fan of anthropomorphic animals.

Making a distinction between them is an exercise in pointless. The one guy in the world who is a "furry" and not also a "yiffer", if he does exist, will just have to suck it up and deal.
