    For me:

Tales from The Darkside The Movie: anyone remembered this movie? the climax of the last story "Lover's Vow" with the gargoyle, Rae Dawn Chong from "Commando" and James Remar from "The Warriors", scared me shitless when i was 7 watching this movie on video.

Nightmare on Elm Street 4: I saw this movie in the theaters when i was 6, yes i have watched the Elm Street flicks since i was 4 and my brother took me to see this in theaters, i was having a good time watching it and munching popcorn but when i witness the scene where Debbie the chick got her arms broke then grew bug arms and turned into a bug, that freaked me out and made me lost my appetite.

Superman 3: What 80's child who saw this movie wasn't afraid of the classic transformation scene? i saw this movie on TV when i was 10 and witnessing that scene where Vera Webster got sucked in the machine and turned into a fembot, that freaked me out.

Pinocchio: Where Lampwick turned into a donkey.

Ya know...my friends and I were talking about Pinochio the other day. Thank donkey scene was some scary sh#%!

Thriller scared me. When Michael turned into a werewolf...though his real life transformation is a bit more scarier...back then the transformation scene from Thriller freaked me out.

Mumm-Ra's transformation from Thundercats always freaked me out, hey, I was only 4 at the time!

Jeff Goldblum really freaked me out in The Fly. Lampwick in Pinocchio was pretty creepy too.

I'll tell you what scared the hell out of me:

                    Michael Jackson's Thriller -
This video's the main reason why I no longer like Michael, I (still to this day) cannot watch the beginning of that video, when I saw it for the very first time, I was 9 yrs old., it was on Friday Night Videos, Xmas Eve in '83. After seeing Michael become that werewolf I had nightmares that he was coming to get me, so since then, whenever that disclaimer comes on, I either change the channel or cover up the TV.

An American Werewolf In London -
The werewolf transformation in this (and any other werewolf movies) shocked the crap out of me.

Yeah, the Cobra Commander snake transformation scene really disturbed me (still does) as well and really made me feel sorry for him.

In the company of Wolves freaked me out when the guy turned into a wolf and it looked like the wolf was coming out his mouth. Like it was coming from the inside out.

I also agree with some of the formentioned like Brook Shields into a cockroach in Nightmare and Michael Jackson in Thriller.
I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much... yummier

Never really scared by anything on TV, but boy does my mind have an ability to make some nasty creatures.....eeeek, I had my own version of the "boogeyman" who could pop out of cracks in walls and floors and anywhere there was a barely visible surface joint, and he was made of some stuff like the Pillsbury dough boy, except with fangs, and about 6 feet tall, with yellow hair and eyeballs, and he floated 3 inches off the floor, scary stuff.

The transformation/attack scenes from American Werewolf in London scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. Just the howling alone freaked me out. I used to get so pissed off at the old man for spooking me when we'd go camping. If I woke up and had to go, he'd stand nearby with the flashlight. Then right in the middle of business he'd shout "Oh my God...it's running right at you!" The bastard...

Some of the transformation scenes in Fright Night were pretty good too.

                                        That traumatised me.... don't laugh.

And seeing Robocop too young wasn't a good idea. The idea terrified me before I had even seen it.

Seriously, nearly every cartoon of 'the day' had an episode where someone got turned into a bad guy.

Centurions had a frightening episode where a kid got turned into a killer cyborg.
The Real Ghostbusters had an episode where some slime covered someone and made them go on the rampage.
HeMan had 2 of the good guys getting surgically turned into bad guys.
X Men (later, but still) had the whole archangel thing....
