Does anyone own any of the following and if so, how often do you play it and is it worth going out and purchasing?

    -Sega Master System
    -Atari Jaguar

I don't know, but good luck "going out" and purchasing them.

It's almost impossible to do it.
There is a battle between two wolves inside us all.

One is evil and the other one is good. Which wolf will win? The one you feed the most.

I repair consoles in my spare time, so I have a genesis, 3 actually. There is a game store in St Louis that has both consoles, and I've seen some decent prices on eBay, I was just wondering if anyone owns it.

You can find a Master System pretty easily. The Jaguar is harder to come by and will cost you a few hundred dollars. I have never played the Jaguar and to my knowlege there are not too many games for it. The Master System is worth having if you like old school games.

I would like to have a SMS, but never have. It does have a decent sized library of games though.

I do however own a jaguar. The system itself is theoretically good, but a dirth of games makes it useless. There aren't many games for it, and many of the ones that do exist are rather pointless for such a high end system. The puzzle game zoop for example, it looks the same whether you play it on a jaguar, an NES, or a 2600. Tempest 2k is the same. The graphics in the game look like the old asteroids game, no matter what system it's designed for.
All in all, the jaguar is disappointment personified. So much potential, so little content. You'd be better off getting a neogeo system than a jaguar. The graphics are comparable, but the neogeo has way more games & way better games.
