Oh it was awesome, in fact 2 days ago i did an Avengers marathon at home starting with Captain America then Iron Man then Incredible Hulk followed by Iron Man 2 and Thor to link the story.

What a movie this was, best Marvel film yet and Joss Whedon is a genius.

Its not exactly a bad movie, I guess I got tired of all the hype surrounding it as well as a few things I didn't get such as:

        - What exactly was that cell holding Loki supposed to do even if he was dropped to his death? Isn't he a god? The Hulk slammed him silly but he still survived so what good would it have done?

        - How did Cap and IM get so quickly to Germany immediately after running a facial scan of Loki to locate him and on the precise street/building?

        - I dunno much about mechanical engineering but how does the heli-harrier fly on just FOUR rotor blades considering its mass and the cargo it carries? Shouldn't it be jet-engine assisted?

Anyways, it achieved its purpose as an entertaining flick but I can only suspend my disbelief to certain extent before I get all logical.

Oh and I watched it in 3D.

Overall it was great, excellent dialogue and action sequences! I think the Hulk stole the show!

          My two main contentions are

          1) The first half hour feels like a bad episode of a syfy special with a stargate and cheesy blue glowy eyed people (didn't think my gf was gonna make it through!)

          2) The Avengers don't really have any motivation to dislike each other. Tony Stark especially acts like he's on a period by randomly being mean for no reason.

*also it was cool to fill out a survey of the movie, I never did that b4

I thought it was the best Marvel movie yet (including Spider-Man and other non-Marvel studio films)

And I respectfully disagree with your points.
            1) I'm sure you knew the point you were reaching, but this statement didn't really make sense. Yes, the opening was a little speedy and light handed, but it balanced out. I'm just glad they didn't go all "moody and contemplative" with the franchise.

            2) Of course they have motivations to dislike each other, they're super heroes. They are above regular humans in every way and they know it. Stark is a genius billionaire with the most advanced tech available on earth. Why does he need anyone else?

i saw it today in 3d . movie it self . frekin awesome.
the 3d was a bit disapointing for such an action packed 3d movie.

I saw it on Tuesday and thought it was enjoyable for the most part. There were some things I could've done without, or wish they would've cut back on, but that's just me.

Who thinks this could be the Star Wars of comic book movies?

Oh I loved it. I went to see it at the midnight release. It was crowded (kinda like going to a comic con in its own respect) and my boyfriend, his friend and I had to sit up in the way front but it was definitely fun! I have always loved Captain America and it was fun seeing iron man and him fight for a bit :) I have to agree tho, I didn't expect Hulk to steal the show. He definitely brought the comedy into he seriousness.

I'll admit my expectations for this movie were really high. However despite that, I really enjoyed it. I felt every character got equal screen time, and there was just enough comedy in there to keep me entertained with an otherwise serious plot. In fact my favorite parts were the comedic parts involving the hulk.
