This thread will serve a simple purpose:

I personally am sick and tired of seeing everyone give list after list of boring long video game collections. ESPECIALLY the NES. So please post pictures only of items from your very own NES collection. Yes, we know you have 3208243 carts but reading a list of them is getting pretty old. What about if you have their original boxes, what condition your collection is in, maybe some instruction manuals, a photograph of a rare peripheral? All these things would be great for this thread.

    Here's mine for starters:

    Peripherals/Games including:
    2 original nes controllers
2 different color variations of the zapper, both official nintendo brand
2 wireless messiah brand nes controllers and receivers(www.playmessiah.com)
    1 nes advantage joystick
    1 SMB/duck hunt w/instruction manual
    1 SMB/duck hunt/world class track meet w/instruction manual

    Games including:
    Kirby's Adventure
    TMNT
    TMNT 2: The Arcade Game
    Krusty's Fun House
    Yoshi
    Final Fantasy
    Dr. Mario
    Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest
    Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse
    Captain Skyhawk
    Tetris

    Games including:
    Tetris 2
    Skate or Die
    Ice Hockey
    Metroid
    Rad Racer
    Popeye Arcade Classics
    10-Yard Fight
    Ice Climber
    Kung Fu
    Duck Hunt
    Mario Bros. Arcade Classics

    Games including:
    SMB
    Pinball
    Golf
    SMB2
    SMB3
    Rampage
    Metal Gear
    The Legend of Zelda(Gold Cart)
    The Adventure of Link(Gold Cart)
    Xevious: The Avenger
    Paperboy

    Games including:
    Tecmo Super Bowl
    Punchout!
    Dragon Warrior
    The Addams Family
    Ninja Gaiden
    Pac-Man(licensed)
    Pipe Dream

Thanks for checking out my collection and post away!

      Impressive, most impressive.

That brings back a lot of great memories, It makes me wish I still had my NES (Sigh).

Thank God for ROM's...but it's just not the same thing as the real deal  .

I'm in the process of packing up all my crap for moving to my new apartment, so I had all this stuff lying around anyway. Might as well take photos of it.

That's my generic brand joystick, and my three loose Zappers. I also have another one in my Action Set. I just can't stop buying Zappers! I'm hoping to get one of the original Zappers in the grey colour scheme soon.

Here's my boxed Action Set. If you're wondering what the Mattel logo is on it for, that's because Mattel distributed the NES in the Australian market. Picked this box up for $5 at a thrift store. It only had the console and one controller though, but I got the gun, game, and all instruction manuals through eBay and flea markets.

And here are my boxed games. As you can see, my tastes run to licensed games rather than original game properties. I also have a crapload of loose carts, but no-one wants to see photos of those.

So, that's my collection there. I have a couple of other loose consoles knocking about, mostly lent to friends. I like to share the NES love. :D

I still have a cut-off cordless version of the NES Zapper and power pad belt I used for my Halloween costume as Captain N from when I was a kid, lol.

I'm working on a Captain N costume for next Halloween. S'why I started buying extra Zappers. :D

I just need to find a nice red letterman jacket that isn't too big. I'm built like a Nintendo player, not a football player.

my friend who is in close with the people at DIC studios (company that produced Captain N) says that it WILL be released.

I've never personally seen this cartoon but I'm interested because of the Gameboy character. Yes, I've heard that everyone hates him and no don't heckle me about it. I friggin love gameboys.

The guy my friend got that info from is listing alot of his Captain N cels on eBay right now, so check that out!

The season of Captain N that ran with the Super Mario World cartoon has been released on DVD in Australia. The Game Boy character wasn't around yet in those episodes, though.

Daniel85, you have The Jetsons: Cogswell Capers? I LOVED that game! I rented that over and over and over again. I was a Jetsons fanatic. Sadly the game came out towards the end when NES was being replaced by Sega, etc. I have the rom but it's just not the same.

I was so glad to see you owned that! Plus the Flintstones too.

Daniel85 I dig your boxed console and Gremlins 2. That game was one of my favorites way back when.

And skywalkersghost i really like your boxed action 52 cart. I've never seen the box until now

Thanks for the tip Christopher, its great information like that makes me keep coming back here, it would makes sense that its released because they are already have The Legend Of Zelda and the Super Mario Brothers Super Show on DVD.

Its too bad about the Super Mario World/Captain N DVD because I don't have a universal DVD player and I don't think Australlian DVD's will work on an American DVD player.

Yeah I'm that friend of christopher's. I can safely say I probably own more Captain N stuff than anybody in the known galaxy. Aside from the cels I have all the ads, the stickers, and the promotional 8x10's released by nbc studios. I'm up to around 24 cels and counting. My favorite character was always simon belmont. I dare someone to name anybody cooler. Kid icarus was another favorite. I also own quite a few Zelda cels along with a personal letter and autograph from jonathon potts (the voice of link). Really nice and cool guy. I also own a good amount of mario cels from the super mario super show (including a model cel of the MAN King Koopa) to cels from the donkey kong commercial to a rare cel of mario with a net from the saturday supercade commercial. I got a signed letter from cynthia preston (voice of zelda) a while ago as well. Then there's, of course, all the figures, toys, boxed games (up to 50 as of now), etc, etc. Man I could've bought a motorcycle by now with all the money I've speant on this stuff......ah well.
