That statement sounded extremely pathetic to me. If there's nothing to watch, then WATCH NOTHING instead of watching the "least worst thing you can find" (which it isn't, btw). That's what I do. I almost never watch television.

rirotostichi 2 years 7 months ago Posts: 1842	In my country (the United Kingdom), My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has a come & go presence on Boomerang. I would watch it, but; A. Currently, it is absent from the Boomerang schedule. B. I'm worried my mom might question why I'd watch such a girly cartoon, and I don't wanna have to go through the trouble of defending myself in a situation like that (as I have sometimes had to do before!)! I have seen clips of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic online and I really like what I've seen! Despite being male (rendering me a Brony in this case), I enjoyed the original My Little Pony cartoon as a kid! Guess I kinda predicted Friendship is Magic's Brony-ism! I believe elsewhere on these forums, in a thread on male users liking girls cartoons, it was said that the original My Little Pony cartoon, despite being girl targeted, did appeal to some boys, but My Little Pony Tales was just too girly.

Almost every man in the world (despite the fact MLP isn't even close to being that popular, but that aside) could be into Dora the Explorer. That wouldn't change the fact it's a cartoon for little girls that I could personally never enjoy.
