Yeah, thats very true about the handheld games etc. I noticed that my NES games fill the screen when Im playing on virtual console. I don't have any N64 games though to check.

I prefer no updates. I want the original graphics & sound.

As for virtual console & aspect ratio, I'm pretty sure they do? Only VC game I have is Majora's Mask, and it was definitely not widescreen. But if you care more for the screen to be filled up, than the way the game was originally made to look, go ahead and hump that zoom button

It would be nice if they go all out like that but Nintendo is usually annoyingly picky about what they put in these collections. Also they refuse to port handheld games on home consoles. :x

Hope it's better than the Mario All-Stars for Wii. Don't get me wrong I still play the hell out of that game. But they didn't update anything, and it was weird to me that the game had side black bars playing on a widescreen HD TV. Virtual console games don't do that. Hopefully they put the NES game, Gameboy, all the SNES(including Super Star) and maybe another disk with N64 and Gamecube games... I doubt they will go all out like that, but heck I can wish right?
