System 8 years 9 months ago Posts: 74809	I liked Super Mario World a lot. But when I got it for GBA, it made me realize that the SNES one was better. God, I miss my SNES. I don't know if this topic belongs here but Which SMW is better (including Super Mario All stars with SMW in it and excluding the TV series of SMW even though that's cool and it's on the web)?

parrothead1983 8 years 9 months ago Posts: 420	I'm going to have to say the GBA version, because of voice acting, portability, and a Luigi sprite that is greater than this annoying Luigi sprite, because he looks like he's thinking about drinking this energy beverage.

Although the voice acting is cool, if you unlock all the secrets in SMW SNES, the enimies change, and so does their names in the credits. Same with the other version, only once you unlock everything, the credits with the changed enimies remain the orignal names of the enimies that changed,

-=Super_Kyle=- 8 years 9 months ago Posts: 3	i would also have to vote the snes version, the gba version jus didnt match up to the original. i think that the fact that for the original version you had to have a tv which is alot bigger than a bga screen and the pad felt better and more comfy than a gba. it was jus plain better!!

System 8 years 9 months ago Posts: 74809	I find the voices rather annoying. Super Mario World is my favorite game of all time and I don't want to sound cocky but...I have yet to find someone with the same mastery of the game as I have.

System 8 years 9 months ago Posts: 74809	Im not just sayong original just to fit in, I mean it! SNES SMW is better! I wish I still had my SNES though. I could play that thing on the controller till the controller was down to a mother board and a few pieces of plastic!
