    		 Do you think that there should be a limit to the number of articles someone can post every month? I ask b/c it seems like there are a lot of people that get on here and write up 5-6 articles that are published in a month and they are horrible! Shouldn't they be able to post no more than 2? I think that would help with so many low score articles. People can learn what they need to focus on to make a good article that everyone on RJ can enjoy.

      		 well, if you think they're worthy of the back page, make some alt accounts and just thumb them down like you mean it. otherwise just leave 'em alone. there's enough badly written articles on the back page that i find as it is. it's like nobody has the time to even read the information in the writer's corner

        Not a wise choice. Some people got a temp ban for for voting with alt accounts a couple of years back.

        To answer the question on a limit I could care less. Most of the articles don't interest me anyway.

          I don't agree with that at all. This has nothing to do with wanting them on the back page. This would be more to benefit the users on here writing articles so they could be critiqued on what they need to work on. That way they will keep writing articles but writing them better and more in line with what we want. Some of them have good topics, but lack in pics, length, etc...

            		 well i've told a few in the past that they should take a good look at any of the articles on the front page before they decide to start writing their own, and to put up pictures after at least two or three paragraphs. though some don't even listen. here's a user that i had a recurring problem with, and his article contributions:

              Like Benjanime said, if they can't follow the tips listed on the opening page of the writer's corner, I don't know how much they are going to be "helped" by critique. Some people dislike critique, however right it may be. Look at almost any article Retrojerk comments on. When he is saying "your article is shit and here's why" some people try to say it's not shit, or they don't care, or that he's a jerk...trying to save face I guess.

              As a reader, a quantity limit would be good if there is not quality control. I have heard that the standards used to be higher regarding what articles are approved. I don't know if that is true, but it does seem like new articles go up more often lately than they used to.
